Chevalier’s Inaugurates Literary Evenings This Thursday

To celebrate their 75th (!) year as bookseller to the Larchmont Village community, Chevalier’s Books is inaugurating a monthly evening Literary Series focused on the power of words. Hosted on the first Thursday of every month, Chevalier’s will offer a space to gather, chat, browse and connect with literature-loving neighbors while listening to some of the special writers who live in our midst.

Chevalier's Books Larchmont VillageUnder the aegis of Chevalier’s new owners, Bert Deixler and Darryl Holter, and in tandem with authors Rich Ferguson, CLS Ferguson and Stephanie Hammer, the store will be hosting authors from across the spectrum of  Southern California’s literary scene.

The Literary Series will kick off this Thursday, May 7th, with a focus on poetry featuring Nicelle Davis, Luis J. Rodriguez and Suzanne Lummis. See the Chevalier’s website for more details.

If you are a poet at heart, bring along a poem to share in the open mic segment of the evening.
