mcwccheader

The Mid-City West Community Council will be awarding two $1,000 Neighborhood Purpose Grants (NPGs) during its 2016-2017 fiscal year. The grants are available to any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or public school that would like to do a community improvement project in the Mid-City West area (roughly La Brea to La Cienega, from Olympic Blvd. to Santa Monica Blvd.). Projects can be anything from a community garden to a neighborhood event. Applications will be judged on their benefit to the Mid-City West community, and the project’s feasibility.

Applications are being accepted from September 9th to October 14th, 2016, and grant recipients will be approved and announced by December. Application materials can be downloaded from the MCWCC grant committee’s web page , where you can also find an FAQ document for applicants.  For more information, or to submit completed applications, contact MCWCC Ad Hoc NPG Committee Chair Mehmet Berker at [email protected].
