The Mid-City West Community Council will be awarding two $1,000 Neighborhood Purpose Grants (NPGs) during its 2016-2017 fiscal year. The grants are available to any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or public school that would like to do a community improvement project in the Mid-City West area (roughly La Brea to La Cienega, from Olympic Blvd. to Santa Monica Blvd.). Projects can be anything from a community garden to a neighborhood event. Applications will be judged on their benefit to the Mid-City West community, and the project’s feasibility.
Applications are being accepted from September 9th to October 14th, 2016, and grant recipients will be approved and announced by December.
