DTLA Night Market Lights Up this Weekend

The  Downtown Night Market this coming weekend should be a great scene to sample some of the best current food and musical acts LA has to offer, and only five miles east of the greater Hancock Park area.

Drawing inspiration from the night bazaars of Asia with its outdoor, night-lit ambiance, the DTLA Night Market will offer  food cooked on carts and trucks, vendors peddling their wares, musicians and DJs performing, and an Art Walk with artists selling and producing their works. There is even an iPhone app that let’s users search and locate their favorite vendors with interactive maps and schedules of performers.

This may just be a the perfect new summer evening activity to draw us out of our backyards and into the community. Buy your tickets early if you’re intent on going as space is limited and only pre-sale tickets (at $7)  are guaranteed admission.
