The Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax is celebrating a birthday! And at 80, the folks at the market plan on celebrating all day long.
Festivities take place on Tuesday, July 15 starting at 12:30p. The celebration kicks off with a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long, free cake from Normandie Bakery, granita iced beverages from Zia Valentina and a strolling 20s/30s gypsy jazz duo.
Then from 5p-9p you can join in on the 6th Annual Taste of Farmers Market. Enjoy food from over 50 of your favorite restaurants, beer and wine samples, giveaways, merchandise specials, entertainment and more. Tickets are only $35 ($40 at the door) and include free parking.
