National Night Out Events Promote Community and Public Safety

The LAPD marks National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th with multiple events across the City.

National Night Out promotes neighborhood unity and helps to raise awareness about public safety issues and crime prevention. It is a great opportunity to join neighbors for food, fun and conversation with local law enforcement leaders.

Here’s a listing of some local National Night Out events happening this Tuesday evening:

  • Larchmont Village: Wells Fargo parking lot at 245 North Larchmont Boulevard. 6pm to 8pm. Festival event.
  • Hollywood: Hollywood Community Police Station at 1358 North Wilcox Avenue. 5pm to 8pm. Family fair.
  • Melrose Neighborhood Action Watch: Poinsettia Park at 7341 Willoughby Avenue. 5pm -8pm. Family fair.
  • Olympic Station: 1130 South Vermont Avenue. 6pm-8pm.
