Robin Ellis, the English-born actor, cook and author is back on Larchmont Blvd this weekend to sign his new cookbook at Chevalier’s Books at 126 N. Larchmont Blvd.
Described as a collection of simple but tasty recipes based on the Mediterranean way of cooking. Healthy Eating for Life: 100 Simple and Tasty Recipes is a follow-up to Ellis’ earlier cookbook Delicious Dishes for Diabetics.   The new cookbook includes recipes  such as Chilled Curried Apple Soup; Sweet Potato, Fennel and Smoky Bacon au Gratin; Cauliflower Roasted with Garlic and Coriander Seeds; Turkish Spinach with Rice; Smoky Spanish Fish Stew; Chicken and Leeks with Lemon; Pork Chops Braised with Rosemary, Garlic and Thyme; Hazelnut Pasta; Chickpea, Leek and Fennel Curry; and Peaches in Honey and Lime.
