Leslie Appleton-Young, Chief Economist of the California Association of Realtors (CAR), has just posted the 2012 forecast which is worth a few minutes of your time to hear. She expects to see more “bouncing along the bottom” of the market with a 2% increase in the number of transactions to roughly 588,000 statewide and a median price of $300,000.
