The LA Times featured an ultramodern home in Hancock Park, “masked by a Spanish bungalow” in their “Hot Property: Home of the Day” section on Monday.

The 3000 sq ft, four bedroom home at 521 N McCadden Place looms like a sheer wall just beyond the quaint single level Spanish facade, no doubt pushing the limits of the area’s HPOZ (Historic Preservation Overlay Zone) which is intended to preserve the street’s historic character.

Get a look behind the front entrance and page through the 17 photographs by Richard Horn of the concrete and glass home which writer Neil Leitereg of the LA Times  says “bridges old and new.”
