First Responders Honored by Miracle Mile Civic Coalition at the 12th Annual GoodHearts Award Ceremony.

Heartfelt appreciation to our city’s finest organized by the Miracle Mile Civic Coalition kicked of the long Valentine’s Day weekend on Thursday at the 12th Annual GoodHearts Award Ceremony held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Against the backdrop of images from the Hollywood In Costumes exhibit, MMCC Founder and President Lyn MacEwen Cohen, presented awards honoring visionaries and leaders for extraordinary public service and arts consciousness” to Daren M. Palaciois, Deputy Chief, Operations South Bureau of the Los Angeles Fire Department and Tim Deegan, LACMA’s Director of Guest Services.

The first GreatHeart award was presented to Councilman Tom LaBonge in recognition of his “exemplary career of remarkable public service, championing for every aspect of the Miracle Mile’s vitality, beauty, security and  historic integrity.”
