It’s almost the weekend…a long weekend at that. And we at the Buzz want to be sure you don’t miss the fact that LA Observed ran a story that could be your Labor Day rabbit hole.

Kevin Roderick – founder, editor and publisher of LA Observed – shared a link to the Los Angeles Historical Society’s new and growing photo database. You can search on a variety of key terms and see if any photos show up for your street, neighborhood, church, school. When you get a match you will find that the images are of high quality and seem to be focused on telling historical stories.

The school was founded in 1924…90 years later the campus has held up well.
