Attention all you Believers! Santa has installed a red mailbox at 126 N. Larchmont in the front of Chevalier’s Books which will get your kids’ letters sent directly to the jolly old fellow and his busy elves up north.
Santa’s mailbox appeared on Thursday the 18th, the first time that Larchmont and Hancock Park area residents have a direct-mail opportunity to the North Pole. Â Children can deposit their letters in the box, and parents will be able to pick up their letters at a later date should they want to have them as a keepsake for the future. If this is the case, please include a phone number or email on the letter somewhere so Chevalier’s can get in touch with you.
There is an added treat for youngsters this week. On Sunday, Dec 21st  children’s book author LeVar Burton will be reading and signing copies of his book, “The Rhino Who Swallowed the Storm” at Chevalier’s. Stop by the Sunday’s Farmers Market, do a bit of local shopping on the boulevard, and post that letter to Santa all in one location – Larchmont Village.
