Most local residents remember the long-vacant space at 4661 Wilshire Blvd. as a seasonal Christmas tree lot. But for the last few years, we’ve been watching it transform into a new apartment building.  Now that the transformation is almost complete, we’ve been very curious to see what it looks like inside.  We buzzed over on Thursday to check out two units at 4661 Wilshire Blvd., the newly completed condominium at the corner of Rimpau and Wilshire Blvds. The 12-unit building was built by an individual who lives on nearby Muirfield Rd.  Realtor June Lee told us five of the 12 units are sold, though most of the building is not yet occupied because new owners are finalizing interiors. Lee and her Coldwell Banker partner, James Song, have just listed the building and will be showing units next week.
The 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 1,500 square foot unit on the first floor is listed at $999,000. The 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath, 2,500 square foot penthouse, one of two on the top floor, is listed at just over $2,000,000. Â Here’s a quick preview (click on any image to see a larger version):
