Five Larchmont businesses have been nominated as the best in the city by readers of the Los Angeles Weekly in its annual poll of the best of Los Angeles. The poll is now open for voting.
Three of those business are members of the Larchmont Boulevard Association, which is urging fans to cast their votes for the following:
- Best Spa –Â Larchmont Sanctuary Spa
- Best Vegan Restaurant –CafĂ© Gratitude
- Best Bookstore –Â Chevalier’s Bookstore
Support the street and cast your vote at the LA Weekly Reader’s Choice Poll. Â The poll is open through Wed., Sept. 9, and the winners will be revealed in the magazine’s “Best of Los Angeles” issue, on stands and at laweekly.com on Oct. 1.
The Larchmont Boulevard Association (LBA), organized in 1965 by community leaders including Jane Gilman, founder of the Larchmont Chronicle, is a non-profit volunteer, cooperative organization of shops and businesses, professional firms and property owners located mainly on Larchmont Blvd. between 1st Street and Melrose Avenue.  The LBA members pay annual dues to fund the Association’s activities and services to the community.
