Councilmember LaBonge Introduces a Motion to Repair Alley Behind Larchmont

According to Councilmember LaBonge’s weekly newsletter, the Councilman introduced a motion this week to use discretionary CD4 funds to repair the concrete alley west of Larchmont Boulevard, north of First Street. The alley has been severely damaged and is dangerous to pedestrians and vehicles. The Bureau of Street Services will carry out this work when the funds are eventually allocated.

  1. This is great! However that alley also needs a safety mirror on both ends — when we are driving can’t see pedestrians and when we are walking can’t see the cars coming. They are not expensive hope they can include a mirror on each end.
