The Windsor Square Association reports there were a number of reported sightings of coyotes last night in the area. The first was on the 100 block of South Irving at 6:30 pm, and the second on the 600 block of South Lucerne Blvd at 8:45 pm. A coyote was also seen on Norton Ave.

Unfortunately, the Lucerne Blvd reporting included that a pet dog was killed in the front yard of the home, a reminder to keep animals and small children inside at dusk in early evening.

You should report coyote sightings to the West LA Animal Shelter at 323-225-9453.
