There was a bit of excitement on the 200 North block of Lucerne Boulevard on Monday evening around 6 pm, as a large limb dropped off a tree, blocking the entire street and smashing into a parked car. No one was injured.

Local residents quickly called Ben Seinfield, Field Deputy for Larchmont in Councilman Tom LaBonge’s office, who was on the scene within 15 minutes and had the LA Fire Department there quickly. LAFD Engine Company 29 was quick to get their chain saws out and remove the debris within an hour.
