Murder Wilshire and Norton: LAPD Seeks Information

On Saturday, February 28th, Olympic area officers responded to a death investigation on the corner of Norton and Wilshire where a woman was found dead on the bus bench. The victim was transported by the coroners office for further examination. The coroner ruled yesterday the deceased woman was in fact stabbed, and now they are investigating it as a homicide. The victim who is believed to have been homeless, was known to frequent Wilshire Blvd.

Wilshire-Norton-BusWest Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking assistance from the community. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of Wilshire Bl and Norton Av on February 28, 2015 between the hours of 12:00 am and 9:00 am are encouraged to contact investigators.
