Services to Honor LAPD Officer Nicholas Lee Begin with Evening Rosary at St. Basil’s Wednesday

medium_268434813Memorial Services are scheduled Wednesday and Thursday to honor LAPD Officer Nicholas Lee. Lee was killed in a tragic traffic collision in Beverly Hills on Friday, March 7, 2014.

Services begin with a 7pm Rosary Service at St. Basil’s Catholic Church on Wilshire at Harvard Boulevard. St. Basil’s is between Western Avenue and Normandie Avenue.

The Memorial Services for Nicholas Choung Lee, a Windsor Square resident and officer in Hollywood Division, will be attended by law enforcement officers from across the City and State. Lee died when a truck, loaded with a dumpster and Bobcat, collided with his patrol car on Friday March 7th on a hill on Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills. Lee was said to be a wonderful family man. He leaves his two young children and wife behind.

Motorists travelling between the Greater Wilshire area and Downtown during the above times should travel via alternative routes to avoid getting caught in traffic and to help alleviate congestion.

Our prayers are with the family of Officer Lee and the entire LAPD community during this time of mourning.
