Monday evening was a bit of a mess for neighbors and commuters alike in the vicinity of 6th Street and Irving Boulevard. At approximately 4:57pm, a package was spotted near The Getty House, the official residence of the Mayor and his family. Nearby streets were closed and the LAPD Bomb Squad was called in to investigate.
The LAPD announced an all clear around 7:45pm. The bag contained clothes and was determined to be safe.
