Wilshire Side Street Paving Between Van Ness and Sweetzer

WIlshire Blvd

The Wilshire BRT project continues with some clean up work along the Wilshire corridor through our neighborhood.  The contractor will be conducting temporary single lane closures along Wilshire Boulevard on Saturday, which will temporarily close intersections for side street grinding and paving.  The #3 lane will be closed intermittently along Wilshire Boulevard, limiting access to side streets.  The eastbound left turn pocket will be blocked as well.  Traffic will be reduced to two lanes on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard.

The work is expected to take place on Saturday, January 24 and is weather dependent. This part of the project should take one day, with an approved work schedule of Saturday – 1/24/2015 from 7am-2pm.

Where?

Wilshire Boulevard at Van Ness Avenue (North), Wilton Avenue (North turn pocket), Rimpau Boulevard (NE/NW/SE), Highland Avenue (S turn pocket), Masselin Avenue (North), Curson Avenue (North), La Jolla Avenue (North) and Sweetzer Avenue (North).
