TNT’s hit show “Perception” shot a wedding scene at St Brendan Church in mid June.

St Brendan Church in Windsor Square was the backdrop for a wedding scene last week when the popular TNT television series “Perception” moved into the nave of the church and shot for two days, June 18-19th.

“Perception” stars Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) as a neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who helps his former student Kate, played by Rachael Leigh Cook, help solve crimes for the FBI. Windsor Square resident

Ann Mehren,  the St Brendan’s wedding coordinator, was asked to serve as the wedding consultant to the film crew, making certain to get the little details correct to make it look like a real wedding. “They actually staged two weddings, one large with lots of extras and the second one, a smaller intimate wedding.”  Both were essential to the plotline of a bride gone missing.

Mehren hired four of her regular altar servers for the two day shoot – siblings Nolan and Caroline Hawley, Isabella Lovateli and Colin Kruse. “It seems like the camera crew got lots of shots of the kids, so perhaps we’ll see them on TV when it airs,” she told the Buzz. The episode is part of  Season 3 of “Perception” which airs Tuesday nights, at 10 pm on TNT, and just started up again this week for a new summer season.
