People Who Live Near Shopping Streets More Likely to Walk

One of the things I most love about Larchmont is that it’s a perfect destination for a walk…really from almost anywhere in the neighborhood Larchmont Boulevard offers a great mid-way point; the perfect meeting place.

And now there’s a UC Irvine study out confirming what many of us already know…that people who live near shopping streets (like Larchmont Boulevard and La Brea’s new District La Brea) are more likely to walk.

So don’t let a little rain keep you in this weekend! Head out and take a jaunt over to the Boulevard for some exercise. Or shake it up and discover a changing La Brea between 1st and 2nd Streets – in the new La Brea Shopping District.
