Cooking for the pubic for the first time since Campanile closed in November 2012, Chef Mark Peel will be team up with his chef de cuisine Christopher Eddy for a short run Feb. 21-24 at Square One Dining, 4854 Fountain in Hollywood, east of Vermont.

foodThe four night stint is part of this is not a pop-up, a relatively new dining enterprise by Helena Brown and Helen Springut that provides short-term and ongoing culinary projects to chefs who are looking to try something a little different. Past chefs have included CJ Jacobson, James Trees, Adam Gertler, Bruce Kalman, Evan Funke and Tyler Wells, while Phillip Frankland Lee, Farid Zadi and Barbara Brass are scheduled for upcoming dates in March.

Peel’s five course feast for the pop-up is priced at $50 (byob) and will include a cedar-smoked salmon, slow roasted tomato frisee, a wild mushroom ramen, beef short rib and a creme fraiche & armagnac ice cream.
