The New Arts Foundation is pleased to present rememberforget on Saturday, July 13th. New Arts is an LA-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that produces Outsider Art events to fundraise for mental health. Featuring new paint & video work by Greg Jenkins, and music by MAX V, rememberforget will benefit NAMI Urban LA. NAMI Urban LA is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. New Arts also has the support of the Wilshire Center-Koreatown Neighborhood Council.
In addition to two rooms full of large-scale contemporary art, the event will feature a one thousand square foot video installation, music, an outdoor lounge area, hand-picked local sponsors, and two bars. All in a converted spirits distillery.
The Reception at 7:00PM provides guests with the opportunity to explore the art and video installation prior to the Main Event’s larger crowd and live DJ beginning at 8:30PM.
