AELLA, the women’s fashion line designed and manufactured in LA, is back on Larchmont for an extended pop-up appearance, courtesy of textile and interior designer Marcie Bronkar, who invited AELLA to her space at 128 1/2 N Larchmont.
In case you missed it then, AELLA (pronounced ay-luh) is a Los Angeles-designed and produced brand that weaves machine-washable comfort into elevated ready-to-wear. Invented by designer Eunice Cho, AELLA is “inspired by women who live without boundaries, who need clothing to fit their life, not the other way around. Starting from the bottom up with the perfect black pants, AELLA’s collection features thoughtful details and smart fabrics designed to flatter a variety of figures, bringing instant confidence to the wearer,” according to the company’s website.
Joining AELLA’s is KENT Lingerie and Thelma shoes, also female-founded fashion lines. KENT, a natural collection of organic silk lingerie designed and produced in Los Angeles, will be hosting a shopping event today from 10 am – 4 pm  called “HELLO, LOVE.”Â
“We are the only underwear brand using certified organic silks and committing to natural materials for natural silhouettes,” founder and owner Stacey Anderson told the Buzz.  “For us, under-apparel is less about sex and more about style, strength and self-love – that’s why we also invest in game-changing projects impacting women and girls in emerging markets through our Female Future Project and non-profit partners.”
The AELLA pop-up shop opened Friday and will stay through April 30th. An official launch party is planned for Wednesday, February 22nd from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm but you don’t need to wait until then to visit. The store is open now with lots more styles than when they were here in 2015.  Also, a standing happy hour is planned every Friday from 4:30 – 6:00 pm – guests will receive 10% off their entire purchase & enjoy libations while shopping.
