Armenian March for Justice (and Street Closures) on Monday

On Monday, April 24, the Armenian Genocide March for Justice will take place from Pan Pacific Park to the Turkish Consulate at 6300 Wilshire Blvd.   The event commemorates the 102nd anniversary of the 1915 genocide in which millions of ethnic Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians were killed by the Ottoman Empire.  The march begins at the park at 12 p.m.  Wilshire Blvd. will be temporarily closed to traffic from Fairfax to San Vicente Blvd. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Other streets with “rolling” closures will be The Grove Dr. southbound to 3rd Street, 3rd Street westbound to Fairfax Ave., Fairfax Ave. southbound to Wilshire Blvd., and Wilshire Blvd. westbound to La Jolla Ave.
