Every year, the Brookside neighborhood hosts a pre-Christmas holiday caroling and wagon ride event through the local streets.  This year’s event was originally scheduled for this Thursday, December 15, but Brookside Homeowners’ Association President Susan Watanabe announced today that – due to rain in Thursday’s forecast – the event has now been re-scheduled for Friday, December 23.  The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd, at the corner of 9th St. and Tremaine Ave.  The organizers urge attendees to “bring plenty of holiday spirit and get ready to warble some of your favorite seasonal tunes. If you’d like to request a song from our ragtag band of merry carolers, please send an e-mail to [email protected].”
