Last weekend residents of Brookside celebrated Easter a bit early with their annual Brookside Easter Egg Hunt.
“It was another successful year with record attendance and over 600 eggs hidden throughout Sandy and Bill Boeck’s garden on the Brookside stream, which looked spectacular with Spring flowers in full bloom. Getting the word out via Nextdoor, the Brookside HOA mailing and the Brookside e-mail circular, surely helped,”Vivian Gueler told the Buzz.
The event is organized annually by volunteers for Brookside residents.  This year’s volunteers included myself, Gina and Jonathan Rudnick, Peje and Ahong Kharazzi,  Gina Riberi, Roy Forbes, and his daughter Merryn Forbes, who donned the Easter Bunny suit. Neighbors hunted with CD4 Council Member David Ryu was in attendance for the third year in a row.
