The driver of an SUV crashed into Tere’s Mexican Grill on Melrose Avenue on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., and then sped off. According to news reports, one patron suffered a leg injury. KNBC reported that police found the SUV but there was no sign of the driver. The investigation is ongoing.
