Windsor Square Resident Stephen Davis was profiled this week in the LA Times Business Section feature on his efforts to lead Hasbro into the feature film business using its vast collection of characters and toys as primary sources for original stories. No longer just licensing their characters, Hasbro has begun financing and producing some of its own projects.
Davis is a longtime resident of Windsor Square where he lives with his wife Peggy who is the Director of Admissions for the Wilshire Blvd Temple Elementary School.
Brookside resident and writer Laura Foti Cohen’s short play will be presented this weekend at Neo Ensemble Theatre. Cohen’s play will open the anthology production “Family Secrets.”
“Being part of a small local theater company has been so much fun and creatively inspiring,” said Cohen in a note to the Buzz about her upcoming production. “Our anthology approach to production allows maximum participation and showcases an incredible range of talent.”
