Meet the winners of the Larchmont children’s drawing contest, sponsored last month by the Larchmont Buzz, Landis’ Labyrinth Toy Shop and Art Works Studio.
Age 2-5 years
First Place: Krystal Czako, age 5 , “Powerpuff Girls”
Second Place: Conan Lobbia, age 4, “Robot Conan Dancing”
Third Place: Georgia Angle, age 5, “Wonder Woman”
Age 6 – 12 years
First Place: Demi Lavapies, age 10, “Spotlight”
Second Place: Kenzie Czako, age 8, “Magnificent Pencil”
Third Place: Jaden Lobbia, age 11, “Drone Flying”
Ioana Slaniceanu of Landis’ Labyrinth Toy Shop presented gift certificates to some of the winners last week at the store, just in time for Christmas and Hanukkah festivities.
The theme of the contest was “Play,” and entries were divided into two age groups: ages 2 to 5, and ages 6 to 12. Artists were invited to drawing anything involving or depicting “Play,” using only chalk, crayon, ink, marker, pastels, or pencil/colored pencils, on paper.
