Dodger Love in the Neighborhood

Spooky City Hall on Halloween Night in Dodger Blue (photo by Tom LaBonge)

As expected, there are lots of Dodger fans in the neighborhood and lots of ways to show Dodger love. A quick walk on Larchmont this morning found a few signs of Dodger love plus a few local Dodger fans getting coffee and another one getting a hair cut on the relatively quiet time of day. Everyone seemed to be home recovering from Halloween and the World Series because there was plenty of parking on Larchmont!

Elsewhere in the city, Dodger fan and likely one of the biggest boosters of Larchmont, former City Council Member Tom LaBonge, shared some photos he took last night of the stadium and downtown from the hills of Elysian Park where he told us he could hear the roar of fans cheering the Dodgers to victory.

In his photos, City Hall looks down right spooky on Halloween eve. The Dodger blue lights pierced the murky evening sky which threatened to drizzle but nothing could dampen spirits last night. It was a memorable Halloween for sure.

“From the hills of Elysian Park to see the beautiful city lights and the roar of the crowd….to Pink’s in Dodger Blue!!!!” said LaBonge sending the Buzz the following images.
