Early Voting Centers

In an effort to make it easier for people to vote, the Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office has set up five Early Voting Centers, in addition to its Norwalk office, that will also be open on the two weekends before election day.

The locator feature on the LAVote.net website shows the closest voting centers if you put in your address or enable to location tracking in your search.  The closest locations to our Buzz office are West Los Angeles College in Culver City and the North Hollywood Regional Library — not super close, but if you’re out and about in either of those areas, you could avoid any long lines at the polls or worries about getting your ballot in the mail on time.  (Other locations include West Covina City Hall, El Camino College  and Antelope Valley College.)

The Early Voting Centers will be open starting this weekend, October 29 and 30, as well as next weekend, November 5 and 6, from 8 am to 4 pm. All registered voters in LA County can vote early, either in person or by dropping off your mail-in ballot. Remember, mail-in ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, November 8, 2016.
