Enforcement of New Parking Restrictions on Lillian Way, Cahuenga and Clinton Starts Today

TPPD 215 map has been updated
Enforcement of Preferential Parking District 215 in the Lillian Way, Cahuenga Blvd. and Clinton St. cul de sac area of Hancock Park will begin today.

Starting today, the City will begin enforcing the new Preferential Parking District No. 215 in the Hancock Park cul de sac neighborhood including Lillian Way, Cahuenga Blvd and Clinton Street. The PPD was implemented last month by Council member David Ryu’s office, under the assumption that all the residents were supporting it. Later, once the signs were posted in the neighborhood, it came to light that not everyone did support the PPD.

In a note to neighborhood leaders announcing that enforcement of the new restrictions would begin today, Senior Field Deputy Nikki Ezhari told residents, “Our Office is currently working with LADOT to open up additional parking areas outside of District 215. We will also continue to monitor parking conditions in the Hancock Park community to foster an equitable parking environment.”

The new preferential parking district is temporary and subject to review after a year. As of today, enforcement of the following restrictions on the following streets will be enforced.

Cahuenga Boulevard between Clinton Street to Rosewood Avenue
Posted Restriction: “No Parking Anytime; 4 Hr Parking 8am-10pm; District No. 215 Permits Exempt”

Clinton Street between Cahuenga Boulevard to Lillian Way
Posted Restriction: “4 Hr Parking 8am-6pm; District No. 215 Permits Exempt”

Lillian Way between Melrose Avenue to Rosewood Avenue (2 segments)
Posted Restriction: “No Parking Anytime Except 2 Hr Parking 8am – 6pm; Vehicles with District 215 Permits Exempt”
