If you’re looking for a great holiday gift for anyone interested in learning about (or looking for tips on) water conservation, the Council for Watershed Health is offering a lovely “Landscaping Lightly” calendar for 2017.  This is the sixth year the Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes more efficient use of stormwater resources, has produced the calendars. They feature colorful, vintage-style illustrations and tips on things like rain barrels, graywater systems, edible landscaping, native plants, mulching, permeable hardscape surfaces and more.  Perfect for students, teachers, home gardeners, landscapers and anyone who’s interested in or mindful of water conservation and/or drought-tolerant gardens and landscaping.
