GWNC Grant Application Deadline Moved Up to May 19

Back in March, we reported that the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council is offering two $1,000 Neighborhood Purpose Grants for community improvement projects by neighborhood schools or other non-profits.  At the time, the GWNC had set the grant application deadline for June 2, 2017. But this morning, the GWNC announced that because of city funding deadlines, the grant application deadline has been moved up to this Friday, May 19, at 5 p.m.

Organizations that would like to apply for one of the grants can find the GWNC’s funding guidelines at  http://greaterwilshire.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/GWNC-Project-Funding-Guidelines-100611.pdf

Grant application forms and guidelines are available at http://empowerla.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/NPG-Application-1-26-15-final1.pdf

Questions about the grants and/or the application process, as well as the applications themselves, should be sent to [email protected]

Applications received after the new May 19 deadline can still be considered for grants in the next fiscal year.  A deadline for fiscal 2017-2018 grant applications will be announced soon.
