GWNC Looking for Gardens for Third Annual Water Wise Garden Tour

The GWNC Sustainability Committee is looking for gardens for its third annual Water Wise Garden Tour next month.

Do you have a water wise garden or know of one? The Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council Sustainability Committee is looking for gardens for their annual Water Wise Garden Tour on June 22, 2019.

“This year’s Garden Tour will feature gardens in Windsor Square and Ridgewood Wilton, and we need nominations!” garden tour chairs Cathy Roberts and Julie Stromberg told the Buzz.

The GWNC Sustainability Committee is encouraging community members to nominate their or a neighbor’s garden for the tour. Nominations must include the address and a photograph of the garden submitted to [email protected].

Nominations will be accepted until June 2, 2019.

Water wise garden at Fire Station 29 features an arroyo that captures the water that falls on the site so it can percolate into the ground.
