On behalf of the Buzz hive, Happy Thanksgiving to all our readers. This year, we are thankful to have been awakened last night to the sound of a much needed rain and, especially, thankful that no mudslides ensued in the areas burned by recent fires. We are thankful the rain washed clean, or at least slightly cleaner, the leaves of our street trees and garden plants that have been accumulating soot and dirt for months. We are thankful to live in this urban green oasis. Finally, we are thankful for all the businesses that were open on Larchmont this Thanksgiving day for the intrepid neighbors in search of coffee, breakfast food and community. Let’s do what we can to support them all on Saturday at the boulevard’s holiday Open House.
