If You Read the Buzz on Facebook…Please Read This

If you read Larchmont Buzz stories through previews you see in our Facebook feed, we’d like to extend one of our periodic reminders that due to the quirks of Facebook’s algorithm (which figures out which stories to show to which readers on which days), not all readers may see all of our stories every day in their news feeds.

If you want to make sure that you do see all the Buzz content that’s available on Facebook, please go to https://www.facebook.com/LarchmontBuzz/ and make sure you’ve clicked “Like” on the page.  Once you’ve “Liked” the page, mouse over the “Following” box next to the “Liked” box, and make sure that under “In Your News Feed,” you’ve checked “See First“…and that under “Notifications,” you’ve selected “All On (Posts).”  This will tell Facebook that you want to see our content, and that you want it to be placed prominently in your news feed, with notifications every time we publish a new story.

We love the interaction we get from our readers on Facebook, and we want to make sure no one’s missing out on stories they want to see!
