Iraqi Consulate Celebrates Victory in Mosul

Iraqi Consulate celebrated the victory in Mosul

Passersby may have wondered why there are flags and balloons at 4500 Wilshire Blvd. The building, the home of the Iraqi Consulate, was recently decorated with banners and colorful balloons shortly after the news broke last week that the Iraqi army had taken back the city of Mosul from ISIS fighters.

The consulate, located at the entrance to the neighborhood Fremont Place at Wilshire and Rossmore Blvd, posted a video on their Facebook page of the celebration held at the consulate.
