It’s Kitten Season!

kittenheader

Thinking about getting a new feline friend?  If so, this is a great time of year – it’s kitten season at all six of the L.A. city animal shelters.

Right now, as with every year at this time, L.A. Animal Services says its shelters are overflowing with irresistible, “purrrrfect” kittens in all colors and sizes, playful or mellow, looking for fur-ever homes and waiting to meet YOU.

All kittens adopted from city shelters are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Also, adoption fees for kittens are reduced to $50.50 every weekend through the end of June.

Remember, please adopt – don’t shop – whenever you can.  When you adopt from a City animal shelter, you are saving a life and helping to make Los Angeles a no-kill city.

The shelters are open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (and closed Mondays).

To find the shelter closest to you, see LAAnimalServices.com/shelters or call (888) 452-7381.
