LA Tennis Club Junior Champs, Again!

Congratulations to Los Angeles Tennis Club’s Coach Godwin Omuta and the Open 2 Junior tennis team who won the Westside Junior  Championships for the 14th consecutive time.  The matches were played in chilly weather under the lights at LATC over this past weekend. Team members include: Charlie Carrington, Kyle Bracco, Sydney Brown, Michael James, Colin Kruse, Dillon and Colin Kneafsey, Chris Tanquary, John Miller, Max Kim, Diego Marin and Tommy Hays.

Congratulations to Coach Omuta, a former touring professional and member of the Davis Cup Team representing Nigeria, whose been a teaching pro at LATC for over 13 years, and all the players and their families for the hard work and dedication it takes to excel at this sport.

LATC is nearing it’s 100th anniversary as a tennis institution in the City. The LATC program is open to the non-members. Junior players are introduced to the teams over three seasons, Fall, Winter and Spring, as well as weekly clinics and lessons. Signups for the Winter Season are located in the LATC lobby. The sign up deadline is January 5, 2018.
