Crime-1

The LAPD has issued a warning about an uptick in night-time robberies in the Olympic Division area (generally east of Plymouth Blvd. in our area, from Melrose to the Santa Monica Freeway), targeting victims’ cell phones:

LAPD Olympic Area is currently experiencing an increase in robberies. Please be aware of your surroundings and do not walk alone in the late evening hours. Stay off your phone and walk in well lit areas. Suspects are targeting cell phones. Keep your phones out public view and only use them as necessary. Report all suspicious persons and activity to 911 immediately.

Please be careful out there!
