The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division and West Traffic Division are holding their annual Open House on Sunday afternoon, October 6th. The event is at the LAPD Wilshire Community Police Station, 4861 Venice Boulevard (east of La Brea Avenue) from 12pm to 4pm.
LAPD Wilshire Division serves the western half of our neighborhood. Join Captain Eric Davis, Patrol Captain Howard Leslie and Senior Lead Officer David Cordova at the headquarters for the police services that serve our area. Admission is free for this fun and informative afternoon. There will be entertainment, food, prizes, safety exhibits, and more. Other organizations, such as neighborhood councils and CERT will have booths with information and free items.
