“Larchmont” Book Signing Packs Chevalier’s

signingheader

Chevalier’s Books was standing room only last night as Larchmont Boulevard fans of all ages turned out for a presentation and book signing by Larchmont Buzz co-publisher Patricia Lombard for her new book, “Larchmont,” published by Arcadia Press at the end of November.

Chevalier’s reported that it sold “well over 100” copies of the book at the event, and many people bought multiple copies, at least some of which are likely to end up as holiday gifts for local friends and family members.  (But don’t worry – there are still more available if you’d like to put one under your Christmas tree!)

Here are some scenes from the event, at which Ms. Lombard showed large-screen images from the project, talked about the history of our favorite retail street, discussed the process of researching and writing the book, and thanked longtime local residents and businesses – such as the Larchmont Chronicle – who contributed photos and background materials.
