Last Day to Request a Vote by Mail Ballot for the June 5th Statewide Election

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan reminds voters in Los Angeles County that tonight (May 29, 2018)  at 11:59PM is the deadline to request a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot for the June 5 election.

As of today, the RR/CC has issued 2,285,560 Vote by Mail ballots.

Voters can request a Vote by Mail ballot by:

  • Applying online at lavote.net
  • Returning the VBM application on the back of the Sample Ballot
  • Requesting a Vote by Mail ballot in person at the RR/CC headquarters: 12400 Imperial Highway, 3rd Floor (Room 3002), Norwalk CA 90650

Voters can check the status of their VBM ballot online at lavote.net.

There are more than 100 VBM drop-off locations spread throughout the County for voters to drop off their ballot in-person.

All VBM ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted if received within three (3) days by the by the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (E.C. § 3020).
