Many community members were saddened last month when Susan Feniger’s Mud Hen Tavern closed on Highland Ave.  But now there’s some good news for the location – the legendary Cat and Fiddle restaurant, which closed its longtime Sunset Blvd. outpost more than two years ago, after an unmanageable rent increase, has announced it will re-open in the old Mud Hen/Street/Highland Grounds building at 742 N. Highland Ave.  The restaurant’s Facebook page, announcing “This cat’s got at least 9 lives!”, says it plans to open in the new space in February, 2017.
