Property Brother Drew Scott Renovating Home in Hancock Park

Last week, the LA Times reported that HGTV home makeover twins Drew and Jonathan Scott are renovating a 1921 Hancock Park home, reportedly never been touched, that will become Drew and fiancée Linda Phan’s first home together.

After some sleuthing around, we weren’t able to determine which home it is (or even confirm the house is actually in Hancock Park, which is often used as a catch-all term for several nearby neighborhoods), but we won’t have to wait long to welcome our new neighbors.  According to the Times:

“The makeover of the $2.3-million five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence will be chronicled in the five-part series “Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House,” which airs in November. The couple are planning a destination wedding next spring.”

According to the Times, the massive project will include a basement for a wine cellar and storage, along with a hot tub on a new attic-level deck.

When asked by the Times if this will be their “forever home,” Scott replied, “Yeah, that’s exactly it. I’m not going to get rid of my house in Vegas. I love that house. But this is my first house with Linda. I can see us raising our kids here.”

So, Linda and Drew, welcome to the neighborhood, wherever you are!

  1. It is on the 200 South block of Irving. Because they are doing the work on a condensed filming schedule, they have a very large (and often rude) crew and have completely taken over our block with the workers’ cars parked on both sides of our narrow street Monday-Saturday. As a longtime resident, I’ve never seen a construction job impact a block like this has. The Property Brothers are showing no consideration to their new neighbors.

    • Hi,
I think u need to forward your post directly to HGTV and have them forward it to the Property Brothers and have them follow up with them to be sure they have replied back to u. Suggest in the future, they arrange for parking off premises with a shuttle service. They need to send u an apology and some kind of gifts to all the neighbors who have been inconvenienced.
