A series of public meetings to discuss the comprehensive revisions to the city zoning codes now underway under the banner ReCodeLA, begins tonight with a meeting at Metro headquarters, One Gateway Plaza in downtown LA.

According to the ReCodeLA website:

We are ready to unveil the first components of our new Zoning Code! Come to any one of our 7 open house public forums for an up-close look. To help you get acquainted, an overview presentation will be given near the beginning and a repeat around the midpoint. There will be information stations where you can get the details, ask questions, and tell us what you think.

If you took part in our previous round of forums, this is an opportunity to see how we’ve incorporated your ideas. If you’re new, welcome! We look forward to your participation.

If you miss tonight’s meeting, but would still like to participate, there are six more ReCodeLA information sessions scheduled throughout March and April, at various locations in the general Los Angeles area.  See the links above for more information.
