More Rain, After a Brief Break

It’s raining hard again this morning, but we had a rather lovely break after yesterday’s storm, providing a spectacular sky just before sunset. Ā Even better is that we haven’t heard too much bad news so far about negative effects from the weather in our area. Mostly just the usual partially-flooded intersections, and a few traffic snarls from those and related power/traffic light outages…most notably along Wilshire, from La Brea to Burnside. Ā Among the best of the “not bad” news we’ve heard is that the traditional flooding doesn’t seem to have materialized along Rossmore Ave., despite the vigorous downpours. Ā Great news for those who live along what has long been dubbed “Lake Rossmore” on rainy days.
